ORTHOPAEDICS AND TRAUMA

KNEE
Exposure to assessing patients for appropriate primary arthroplasty, patients suffering from problems after arthroplasty, and as well as injuries due to playing sport.
Performed Primary Total Knee Replacements (PFC, Kinemax ,Scorpio, Next Gen), Unicondylar Knee Replacemnt (Oxford), Arthroscopic menisectomies, and Arthroscopic meniscal repair.
Have performed procedures like ACL reconstruction (Arthroscopic and Open), PCL reconstruction, PL corner repair, Mosaicplasty, Patello-femoral replacement etc.
SHOULDER
Have performed Shoulder Arthroscopies, Sub-acromial decompressions (Arthroscopic and Open), Excision of lateral end of clavicles, Rotator cuff repair, ORIF proximal humerus, Hemiarthroplasties.
Performed Open and Arthroscopic Bankart repairs, SLAP lesion repairs, Weaver-Dunn procedure, Total Shoulder Arthroplasties etc
HIP
Good exposure in assessing problems of the hip, especially patients for arthroplasties, Revisions and Re-revisions.
Have performed primary hip replacements (cemented, hybrids and un-cemented), Girdlestones, revision surgery and Re-surfacing hip procedures.
ELBOW
Excellent exposure to diagnosing the various elbow problems, fixing complex elbow fractures, Arthrolysis of the elbow and Elbow Arthroplasties (Coonrad-Morrey and Souter Strathclyde)
FOOT and ANKLE
Good exposure in diagnosing and managing problems of the foot. Have performed First Metatarsal osteotomies (Cheveron, Mitchell and Scarf) and other toe procedures.
PAEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDICS:
Good exposure in performing orthopaedic operations of the children.
TRAUMA
Performed Hip fracture surgery, Hemi-arthroplasty, ORIF, IM Nailings, External fixations and have assisted in complex trauma like Acetabular fractures and use of Illizarov frames in the treatment of non-unions.
